Greg Schmergel

Co-Founder & CEO, Yuva Biosciences; Co-Founder & Ex CEO, Nantero

Greg Schmergel is a serial technology entrepreneur with three decades of experience founding and leading high-tech startups. Greg is well known as the Co-Founder and long-time CEO of Nantero, Inc., a pioneer in nanotechnology where he spent two decades developing carbon-nanotube-based non-volatile memory (NRAM). He currently serves as Co-Founder and CEO of Yuva Biosciences, Inc. , the leader in AI-driven mitochondrial health.

Before founding Nantero, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at About.com, then the fifth-largest web property, and Co-Founder and CEO of ExpertCentral.com, which was later acquired by About, Inc. He began his career as a consultant and case team leader at Bain & Company.

Greg holds an AB from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in New England (Emerging Technology category) and was inducted into the Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame. He has also been active in the entrepreneurship community as a Venture Partner at Rubicon Venture Capital and a board member of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
